It had been raining for several days at Oviken but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Purple Red sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Pommard started to galop and lost 50 m.

Speed Wolf quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Pommard who started to galop and lost 20 m. Slimy Comet started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Eilliam Hamilton looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dead Work couldn't come out from behind the leader, Speed Wolf.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Speed Wolf followed by Dead Work and Purple Red. Lane two Eilliam Hamilton followed by Confident Band and Pommard.

Speed Wolf kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Just Factory gallopped 20 m after 2000m. Hoping Bandwagon gallopped 30 m after 2000m.

Speed Wolf were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Just Factory galop. Just Factory lost 20 m.

Purple Red never caught up with Speed Wolf who won. Confident Band came third.
