The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Halmstad this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gold Hugo Boss took the lead after a very quick start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Gold Hugo Boss was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Loyal Angel looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Sussudio gallopped for 30 m.



Loyal Angel kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sussudio won the race after a spectacular finish.
