The weather had been good all week and Axevalla was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Slippery Pirate sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Portable Mustache suddenly started to galop. Dick Sjöberg had to struggle to get Portable Mustache to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Esther, Deventer, Fiamingo, Now Or Never, Slippery Pirate, Black Sergeant, Competitive Devil, Portable Mustache. Moving Energy was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Now Or Never sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Fiamingo saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

With only a little left of the race Competitive Devil galoped for 10 m. Fiamingo looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Fiamingo galop. Fiamingo lost 50 m.

Final standings. 1 Slippery Pirate, 2 Deventer, 3 Esther.
