It had been raining for several days at Eskilstuna but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wrong Way tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hériot that came steaming ahead.




Koira quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Striking Dancer was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




A Red Planet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Wrong Way couldn't come out from behind the leader, Koira. Moving Printer showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



Hériot looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Wrong Way couldn't come out from behind the leader, A Red Planet.

Koira was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.




Hériot won the race after a spectacular finish.
