The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Moonlight Godiva could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Moonlight Godiva was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Jumping Starlight sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Moonlight Godiva saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Jumping Starlight started to gallop after 1500m and Jörgen Sjunnesson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Belle Louise Mabon speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Robert Bergh tried a little too much on the homestretch and Belle Louise Mabon started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Moonlight Godiva made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Long Leg Susie.
