One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Loving Motor tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Wimpy Cup that came steaming ahead. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Péponnet sprinted to the front. Sneaking Electra sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Péponnet galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Loving Motor looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Sneaking Electra galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Wimpy Cup suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Björn Goop tried a little too much on the homestretch and Solid Mountain started to galopp and lost 20 m. Wimpy Cup kept the speed the whole finish and won before Loving Motor and Péponnet. Results
