One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Doctor Mud sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Émilie was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Pluto Pegasos quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pluto Pegasos followed by Amber Duchess and Doctor Mud. Lane two Slimy Body followed by Émilie and Mérignac.



Slimy Body speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Doctor Mud sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
