The weather had been good all week and Pihtipudas was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fighting Space took the lead after a very quick start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Quick Legend took the lead after 1000m. Fighting Space didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Fighting Space looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Quick Legend suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Quick Legend didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
