The sun was shining on Solvalla and it was a perfect day for trotting.
The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.
Happy Band took the lead after a very quick start.
There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of
Happy Band who started to galop and lost 20 m.
Avril started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
The leader got disturbed by something and
Welsh Bible took the lead rather easily.
Smiling Whirlwind galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Welsh Bible today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and
Modestine gallopped for 30 m.
Smiling Whirlwind galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
Welsh Bible were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
The Awakening won the race after a spectacular finish.
