Only a humble breeze blew over Lycksele this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Big Runner tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Modest Spring that came steaming ahead.




Modest Spring was in fine shape and held the lead.




Quick Mind looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Big Runner couldn't come out from behind the leader, Modest Spring.




Modest Spring was still in the lead after 1500m.




Modest Spring sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Modest Spring kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Forceful Crusher won. Quick Mind came in second. Modest Spring caught third place.
