One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Art Nouveau could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
Stepping Needle saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
The leader got disturbed by something and Wolly Trap took the lead rather easily. Wolly Heat suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.
Criminal Doll looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Wolly Heat gallopped for 30 m.
With only a little left of the race Wolly Trap galoped for 10 m. Criminal Doll looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Neon Sugar galop. Neon Sugar lost 10 m.
Art Nouveau sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
