The weather had been good all week and Mariehamn was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Competitive Ship took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Glamorous Cookie sprinted to the front. Merkurius Pegasos started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Pinstripe´s Happy took the lead after 1000m. Glamorous Cookie didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
