One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Double Your Fortune could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 20 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Comfortable Momentum sprinted to the front. Betsy Boy took the lead after 1000m. Double Your Fortune didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Double Your Fortune accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Shooting Pressure galloped for 50 m. Shooting Pressure galloped way to long and was disqualified. Double Your Fortune sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Crystal Engine won the race after a spectacular finish.
