One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Beautiful Amazon could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Tapio Perttunen wanted a little to much in the start and Jennifer Opal galoped for 20 m.




Elsie Rori quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Lonely Cherry was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Jennifer Opal took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Jennifer Opal today. It continued in the lead. Skipping Wave galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Beautiful Amazon speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Beautiful Amazon. Chico Chaco came in second. Jennifer Opal became third.
