One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Purple Sunflower tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Avalanche Course that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Avalanche Course was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Loyal Bullet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Comfortable Space couldn't come out from behind the leader, Avalanche Course. Comfortable Space galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Avalanche Course today. It continued in the lead.




Avalanche Course was still in the lead after 2000m.



Avalanche Course looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Nicke made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Avalanche Course.
