Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Färjestad track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Competitive Scope tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Jumping Sapphire that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Fast Box took the lead after 1000m. Jumping Sapphire didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Jumping Sapphire galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Fast Box followed by Competitive Scope and Troubling Gossip. Lane two Jumping Sapphire followed by Garibaldi Hof and .




Fast Box kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Fast Box kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Fast Box didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
