One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





California Crown was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Wolly Doll saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Wolly Doll was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Fliegend Umsonst sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Carlos Amarone suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Fliegend Umsonst today. It continued in the lead.




Fliegend Umsonst didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Carlos Amarone was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. driver couldn't keep Pampered Midnight to trotting so they were disqualified. Fliegend Umsonst sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Fliegend Umsonst kept the speed the whole finish and won before Pointing Breath and California Crown.
