The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Oviken this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Awesome Gold One sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Modestine was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Drooling Hero sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Modestine who started to galop and lost 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Tricky Sunray accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Tricky Sunray were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Drooling Hero won. Tricky Sunray came in second. Awesome Gold One caught third place.
