Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Fast Runner. Graziana ended up behind the leader. Kvarngärdets Chester got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Kvarngärdets Chester was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Cylinder Hof, Dribbling Boy, Inflazione, Happy Knight, Grain, Graziana, Kvarngärdets Chester, Fast Runner. Stretching Closet was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Graziana looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Happy Knight couldn't come out from behind the leader, Cylinder Hof.




Happy Knight accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Dribbling Boy started to gallop after 1500m and Jon Walter Pedersen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Cylinder Hof was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Happy Knight kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
