Only a humble breeze blew over Pihtipudas this day. The track where in perfect shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Schneller Reden tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Snowy Thinking that came steaming ahead. Schneller Reden was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

Handy Boy was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Golden Bomb who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Le Poignard was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Golden Bomb galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mimoun followed by Schneller Reden and Le Poignard. Lane two Amorito followed by Snowy Thinking and Maximum Bear.

Mimoun kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Handy Boy gallopped 40 m after 2000m.

Mimoun looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Aki Antti-Roiko tried a little too much on the homestretch and Le Poignard started to galopp and lost 10 m.

Snowy Thinking never caught up with Amorito who won. Mimoun came third.
