Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Umåker track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Venire took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Mad Summer, Rocket's Miracle, Valhalla, Venire, Made In America, Pirate Copy, Scarlet Macawa, Millie Onion. Millie Onion was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Mad Summer was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Pirate Copy galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mad Summer followed by Valhalla and Millie Onion. Lane two Venire followed by Rocket's Miracle and Made In America.



Valhalla was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Mad Summer looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Valhalla won. Venire came in second. Mad Summer caught third place.
