One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Swing Vote was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Fight For Freedom was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

Tropical Electra quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Hey Im Magnificent took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hey Im Magnificent followed by Lone Scout and Tropical Electra. Lane two Fight For Freedom followed by Swing Vote and Fast Boulder. Tropical Electra started to gallop after 1500m and Björn Karlsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Fight For Freedom speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Swing Vote won. Hey Im Magnificent came in second. Lone Scout caught third place.
