The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Slow Action took the lead after a very quick start. Racing Runner suddenly started to galop. Stefan Söderkvist had to struggle to get Racing Runner to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




Whispering Vixen saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Whispering Vixen today. It continued in the lead.



Drooling Hero was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Whispering Vixen looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Racing Runner galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Slow Action made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Whispering Vixen.
