One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gold Performance could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Perrot quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Perrot was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Gilbert Opal galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.



Playing Sunflower was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Speedy Moment showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Gold Performance sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
