One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gilbert Opal could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Heavy Rock saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Gilbert Opal took the lead after 1000m. Heavy Rock didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Jago looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. driver couldn't keep Front Bear to trotting so they were disqualified.




Jago didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Jago kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Lützen Larockma won the race after a spectacular finish.
