One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rugged Pirate was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Red Hope saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Black Blizzard sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Modestine galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Black Blizzard followed by True Obsession and Red Hope. Lane two Rugged Pirate followed by Modestine and Turn It Over.



Black Blizzard sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Black Blizzard. Rugged Pirate came in second. True Obsession became third.
