One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Handy Pain tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Troubling Gossip that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Garibaldi Hof started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Vivo Per Lei looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Muscle Image couldn't come out from behind the leader, Troubling Gossip. Focused Star galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Troubling Gossip followed by Vivo Per Lei and Muscle Image. Lane two Shining Galaxy followed by Handy Pain and Purple Giggle. Purple Giggle started to gallop after 1500m and Pål Sem had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Shining Galaxy suddenly took over the lead.



Shining Galaxy were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Shining Galaxy didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
