The weather had been good all week and Dannero was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Big Runner tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Ghostly Princess that came steaming ahead.

Ghostly Princess looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Shining Girl couldn't come out from behind the leader, Big Runner.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Big Runner today. It continued in the lead.



Big Runner looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch Big Runner today who won before Ghostly Princess and Shining Girl.
