One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Punching Strategy was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Hollywood Agent was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Competitive Sergeant started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Pinstripe´s Gangster suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Smiling Princess saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



With only a little left of the race Thinking Admiral galoped for 20 m. Competitive Sergeant was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Smiling Princess sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Scarlet Wish never caught up with Smiling Princess who won. Punching Strategy came third.
