One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Magic News could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Blossoming Moon saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Sliding Moon looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Magic News couldn't come out from behind the leader, Blossoming Moon.




Magic News accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Magic News sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Magic News were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Sliding Moon never caught up with Magic News who won. Salami came third.
