The sun was shining on Sørlandet and it was a perfect day for trotting. The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day. Golden Bomb was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Golden Bomb looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ikonen Opal couldn't come out from behind the leader, Gooo Far. Ikonen Opal was still in the lead after 1500m. Golden Bomb sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Scarlet Thinker gallopped 20 m after 2000m. Ikonen Opal looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Golden Bomb never caught up with Ikonen Opal who won. The Chocolate Factory came third. Results
