It had been raining for several days at Lycksele but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gringotts Superior tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Springibenen that came steaming ahead. Påarps Christian suddenly started to galop. Ove A Lindqvist had to struggle to get Påarps Christian to tror again and succeded after 10 m. Happy Piece was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Happy Piece who started to galop and lost 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Springibenen today. It continued in the lead.

Gringotts Superior kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Gringotts Superior sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Gringotts Superior kept the speed the whole finish and won before Springibenen and Påarps Christian.
