One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blue Star Rachel could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Pretty Diamond was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Blue Star Rachel looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Blue Star Rachel were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Pretty Diamond sprinted over the finishline before Blue Star Rachel and Racegirl.
