The weather had been good all week and Tornio was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Standard Milk took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Ahdinko Heilahdella sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Bringing The Beat who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Alexander The Great sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Gedacht Diamant galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Alexander The Great today. It continued in the lead.



Standard Milk litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Standard Milk today who won before Alexander The Great and Coral Fawlty.
