One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Loving Madness took the lead after a very quick start.
This is the positions after 500m. Sluglife, Criminal Dreamgirl, Travelling Beauty, Madame Pernod, Loving Madness, Intelligent Band, Sans Xylene, .
The leader got disturbed by something and Madame Pernod took the lead rather easily.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Madame Pernod today. It continued in the lead.
Madame Pernod sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Eirik Høitomt tried a little too much on the homestretch and Intelligent Band started to galopp and lost 40 m.
Travelling Beauty won the race after a spectacular finish.
