One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lukas could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Lukas today. It continued in the lead. Unknown galloped for 40 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Lukas gallopped for 10 m.



driver couldn't keep Lukas to trotting so they were disqualified. Lukas looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Punching Bear was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.




Grasping Diary never caught up with Lukas who won. Hillsong Lea came third.
