The weather had been good all week and Bergsåker was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Smiling Rhapsody could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Exotic Breeze saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Playing Whirlwind was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Modest Ruby sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Exotic Breeze saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Modest Ruby gallopped for 40 m. Exotic Breeze kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Smiling Rhapsody was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Exotic Breeze didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race. Results
