One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Qiesta Hamilton could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Substance Élégante quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Sans Xylene looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Madame Pernod couldn't come out from behind the leader, Substance Élégante.




Âme Charitable looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Sudden Star gallopped for 40 m.




Sans Xylene took the lead. Sudden Star gallopped 30 m after 2000m.



Madame Pernod speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Madame Pernod. Qiesta Hamilton came in second. Âme Charitable became third.
