The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Advanced Missile tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Speciale Eenheid that came steaming ahead.




Terminal Worker quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Pinstripe´s Bagheera took the lead after 1000m. Old Bandwith didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Terminal Worker galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Pinstripe´s Bagheera was still in the lead after 1500m. Speciale Eenheid galloped for 50 m.




Pinstripe´s Bagheera was still in the lead after 2000m.



Pinstripe´s Bagheera sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Wandering Sugar sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
