It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rami found a gap and took the lead. Elegant Lily followed before Salami.

Elegant Lily quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Madonna On Fire took the lead after 1000m. Elegant Lily didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Elegant Lily saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Ture Travguru started to gallop after 1500m and Thomas Dalborg had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Elegant Lily was still in the lead after 2000m.

Elegant Lily were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Lars Wester tried a little too much on the homestretch and Elegant Lily started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Hoppalong Opal won. Rami came in second. Fire And Rain caught third place.
