It had been raining for several days at Axevalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Doer tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Stretching Closet that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Stretching Closet was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Stretching Closet looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Doer never caught up with Stretching Closet who won. Slimy Platinum came third.
