One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Falling Godiva could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Amazing Pearl, Sowing Peach, Coughing Dream, Rolling Moment, Big Maybe Baby, Mein Wunsch, Cypress Hof, Sleeping Midnight. Falling Godiva started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Mein Wunsch looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Big Maybe Baby couldn't come out from behind the leader, Amazing Pearl.




Big Maybe Baby looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Big Maybe Baby was still in the lead after 2000m.



Big Maybe Baby looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Amazing Pearl won. Purple Madness came in second. Mein Wunsch caught third place.
