One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Devine Dream tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Heavenly Heroine that came steaming ahead.




Heavenly Heroine was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Crossing Nutcracker looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Devine Dream couldn't come out from behind the leader, Heavenly Heroine.




Heavenly Heroine was still in the lead after 1500m.



Crossing Nutcracker suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Heavenly Heroine won the race after a spectacular finish.
