The weather had been good all week and Eskilstuna was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ferocious Opal was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Yolo Emily suddenly started to galop. Sandra Svensson had to struggle to get Yolo Emily to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Galette, Big Panther, Europio Vox, Tough Titan, Ferocious Opal, Yolo Emily, Monsieur Du Dijon, Modern Stupidity. A bird flew just in front of Sir Sankari who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Galette clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Galette followed by Ferocious Opal and Tough Titan. Lane two Big Panther followed by Yolo Emily and Monsieur Du Dijon.



Big Panther speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Modern Stupidity to trotting so they were disqualified.




Ferocious Opal sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
