One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mike On Fire found a gap and took the lead. Counterfeit Cookie followed before Decisive Star.




Stifling Box quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Fighting Space took the lead after 1000m. Counterfeit Cookie didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Fighting Space followed by Mike On Fire and Avocat Du Diable. Lane two Soldato followed by Counterfeit Cookie and Stifling Box.




Fighting Space sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Stifling Box was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.



Mike On Fire suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Counterfeit Cookie galoped way to long and was disqualified.
