It had been raining for several days at Åmål but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Spontané sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Qui Phlex saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Qui Phlex clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Qui Phlex followed by Glittering Diamond and Flickering Bouquet. Lane two Mr Confident followed by Spontané and Bordeaux.




Qui Phlex kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.




Qui Phlex seemed to be in good shape this day and continued in the lead.



Qui Phlex were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Bordeaux was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Glittering Diamond made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Spontané.
