The sun was shining on Dannero and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Glorious Sunset found a gap and took the lead. Lord Mckenzie followed before Sleepy Sunflower.




Leich was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Lord Mckenzie was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sleepy Sunflower followed by Leich and Glorious Sunset. Lane two Lord Mckenzie followed by Cosmic Venus and Bright Cocktail. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Glorious Sunset gallopped for 50 m.



Lord Mckenzie looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Glorious Sunset kept the speed the whole finish and won before Lord Mckenzie and Sleepy Sunflower.
