The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åmål this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Starstruck Orchid tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Spirito Di Amore that came steaming ahead.

Powerful Missile quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and The Watergirl took the lead rather easily.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop The Watergirl today. It continued in the lead. Spirito Di Amore started to gallop after 1500m and Ville Nisonen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

The Watergirl didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Money On Fire took the lead after a speedrush. The Watergirl was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.

Money On Fire looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Destry Rides Again sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
