One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lauréat was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Shining Hope who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Resplendissante Éclairer looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Irsih Rose couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lauréat.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lauréat followed by Resplendissante Éclairer and Myrtille. Lane two Henrietta followed by Irsih Rose and Shining Hope.




Resplendissante Éclairer suddenly took over the lead. Henrietta was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.



Resplendissante Éclairer looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Henrietta won. Resplendissante Éclairer came in second. Lauréat caught third place.
