Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Lahti track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Frozen Blast could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Emmentaler Hof was still in the lead after 1500m.



Emmentaler Hof were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Winner of todays race was Portion Of That. Emmentaler Hof came in second. Dirty Panther became third.
